Could you be the person we are looking for?
Our client are looking for an experienced Senior Site Managerto join their Aquatic Business Unit. You will have the opportunity to work in some of the most incredible environments around the UK to help them deliver high quality schemes for their clients. Their work takes them along canals, rivers, through parklands and impressive landscapes using their specialist low impact equipment.
Our client are looking for someone with a fantastic attitude to embrace our core values. They will need you to work independently and as part of a team with high standards and a genuine enthusiasm for improving the environment. This is a demanding but rewarding role and will require you to work in all different terrains and weather.
As they provide a nationwide service, you will be required to travel on a regular basis, and this will include working away from home. Accommodation and subsistence will be provided.
The key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
· Lead site set up or support setting site up
· Follow drawings to deliver projects
· Develop project methodologies (as experience develops)
· Attend pre-start meetings
· Carry out risk assessments, prepare method statements, emergency planning & preparations of job packs for site operations teams & suppliers (as experience develops)
· Supervise, work with and manage direct workforce, agency operatives, sub-contractors and other on site activities
· Order plant and materials as required for the site, off hire plant as required
· Ensure site costs are controlled
· Sign off each project using the project booklet on completion with the client
· Visit sites with colleagues to give advice, opinions & approaches to methods for tenders
What our client need from you…
It is essential that you have:
· A full, valid driving licence
· A current CSCS card
· SMSTS or SSSTS
· Construction/Civils experience
· A minimum of 5 years previous, relevant experience
· Good IT Skills
· A willingness to work away from home
It would also be great if you have:
· First Aid at Work
· Temporary Works Supervisor
· CPCS Lift Supervisor
